The Hug Mini-Kids is a flexible, wearable hot and cold gel pack designed especially for children, with an additional extension strap to comfortably fit growing bodies.
The Hug can be used warm or cold and is designed to provide soothing comfort for growing pains, bumps and bruises, muscle soreness, stiff joints, recovery from injury, or simply those days when a child needs some extra care.
The wearable design means The Hug can be secured around the body, while the soft protective cover provides a comfortable layer between the gel pack and skin.
The included extension strap provides additional length and is designed to fit most children's bodies up to a 65cm waist.
Freeze the gel pad to use for cold therapy; heat the pack using a microwave or with hot water.

Each Hug Mini-Kids Pack contains:
1 × Mini hot-cold gel pack with elastic strap
1 × Mini skin-protecting cover
1 × Extension strap for additional length – fits most bodies up to around age 8
1 × The Hug organic cotton mini storage bag

Mini gel pack (not including the straps): 250 x 130mm
Elastic gel pack strap (attached to the gel pack): 360 x 50mm each when relaxed
Mini cover: 285 x 130mm
Separate extension strap: 370 x 50mm when relaxed
Safety:
Heat varies. Always test before use.
The Hug can become hot enough to cause burns if overheated.
Heat gradually and cautiously in short increments
Always test the temperature on your skin before applying it to a child's skin, ensuring it is warm - not hot.
Use with The Hug Cover only - never directly on skin
Do not strap tightly against bare skin, as this can intensify heat
Some children may be more sensitive to heat, while others may tolerate higher temperatures - both can increase the risk of burns if not carefully monitored.
It is recommended to use for 20 minutes at a time.
Do not use on broken or irritated skin
Discontinue use if discomfort or irritation occurs
Regularly inspect for damage or leaks - do not use if damaged
Children must be supervised at all times

Gel pack material: Single layer of 30-micron thick polyester fabric which is durable, lightweight and environmentally friendly
Gel pack strap: elastic with Velcro end
Cover: 50% linen 50% cotton blend with Velcro end
Separate extension strap: elastic band with Velcro ends
Care guide
Store your gel pack flat when possible.
Keep your gel evenly distributed between the sections.
Store in the freezer if regularly using cold therapy.
Wash your cover according to the care instructions.
Allow the gel pack to cool between heating cycles.
